Emotional Listening Support Hotline
For this logo design project, I created two design directions for a branch of CONTACT Helpline known as their Emotional Listening Support Hotline.
For the first logo direction, I wanted to design a logo that could be an extension of CONTACT's preexisting logo, which utilized a chat box symbol. However, I added rounded edges to my design to create a distinction between the main CONTACT logo and the Emotional Listening Support logo.​​​​​​​
For the second logo direction, I designed a hand reaching into an ear to symbolize CONTACT's outreach through listening. This symbol evolved into four interlocking ears and hands, which I felt could effectively convey four of CONTACT's main goals: active listening, represented by purple; a compassionate outreach, represented by red; connection with others, represented by yellow; and a calm, safe space, represented by CONTACT's signature shade of blue.
